Privacy Policy

Orot ("the app", "we") is made by SimpleFunction. Orot is built to be private by default. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

Orot does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, or store your personal content on our servers. Your journal entries, photos, dates, and settings are stored only on your device. We cannot see them.

What stays on your device

Your entries, photos, dates, and (optionally) a location you add to an entry
App settings and preferences
Your PIN, kept in the device's secure keychain; biometric (Face ID / fingerprint) authentication is handled by your operating system and never leaves your device

Location (optional)

If you choose to add a location to an entry, the coordinates are sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service solely to look up a place name. Only the coordinates are sent — no name, account, or identifying information. The resulting place name is then stored on your device. If you never add a location, no location data is sent anywhere.

Permissions we may ask for

Camera & Photos — to attach a photo to an entry.
Face ID / biometrics — to lock the app locally. Handled by your OS.
Location — only if you add a place to an entry (see above).
Notifications — to send you local reminders. These are generated on your device.

You can grant or revoke any of these in your device settings at any time.

What we do not do

No advertising. No third-party analytics or tracking. No selling or sharing of your data. No social feed. Orot has no account system.

Your control & deletion

Everything lives on your device. You can export a backup file yourself, and you can delete all of your data at any time via Settings → Delete all records, or by uninstalling the app.

Children

Orot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Material changes will be reflected in the app and on this page.

오롯(이하 "앱")은 SimpleFunction이 만들었습니다. 오롯은 기본이 비공개로 설계됐습니다. 이 방침은 앱이 당신의 정보로 무엇을 하고, 무엇을 하지 않는지 쉬운 말로 설명합니다.

요약

오롯은 계정이 필요 없고, 당신의 개인 콘텐츠를 외부 서버로 수집·전송·저장하지 않습니다. 기록·사진·날짜·설정은 오직 당신의 기기에만 저장됩니다. 저희는 그것을 볼 수 없습니다.

기기에만 저장되는 것

PIN은 기기의 보안 키체인에 저장. 생체 인증(Face ID·지문)은 운영체제가 처리하며 기기를 벗어나지 않습니다.

위치 (선택)

기록에 위치를 추가하면, 장소 이름을 찾기 위해 좌표가 OpenStreetMap Nominatim 서비스로 전송됩니다. 전송되는 것은 좌표뿐이며 이름·계정·식별 정보는 보내지 않습니다. 변환된 장소 이름은 기기에 저장됩니다. 위치를 추가하지 않으면 위치 데이터는 어디로도 전송되지 않습니다.

요청할 수 있는 권한

카메라·사진 — 기록에 사진을 첨부하기 위해.
Face ID·생체 인증 — 앱을 로컬에서 잠그기 위해. OS가 처리.
위치 — 기록에 장소를 추가할 때만 (위 참조).
알림 — 로컬 리마인더 발송. 기기에서 생성됩니다.

모든 권한은 기기 설정에서 언제든 허용·해제할 수 있습니다.

하지 않는 것

광고 없음. 제3자 분석·추적 없음. 데이터 판매·공유 없음. 소셜 피드 없음. 오롯엔 계정 시스템이 없습니다.

통제 및 삭제

모든 데이터는 기기에 있습니다. 백업 파일을 직접 내보낼 수 있고, 설정 → 모든 기록 삭제 또는 앱 삭제로 언제든 전부 지울 수 있습니다.

아동

오롯은 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 해당 정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다.

변경

방침이 바뀌면 위 날짜를 갱신합니다. 중요한 변경은 앱과 이 페이지에 반영합니다.
